Where are you called? How has the Lord gifted you? What passions and interests has He given you?

Tell us about your particular interests by filling out the information below. FBC ministry teams are regularly seeking additional help to serve the needs of the church and community. A powerful way to develop relationships and grow in Christlikeness is by partnering with one another in our Lord’s service. The FBC nominating committee will use this information to establish ministry committees and connect ministries with interested volunteers THANK YOU for helping us in this process and thank you for serving the Lord and His church with your gifts.

AUDIO/VIDEO TEAM – Set up and run sound for church events. Facilitate the livestream.

BAPTISM – Assist those being baptized on Sunday mornings. Assign rooms and place robes in rooms for candidates. Repair & label robes.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY – This team will assist the director in planning and promoting ministry events designed to equip and encourage children and their families. This team will also serve as volunteers and recruit volunteers for programs, VBS, Children’s Camp, etc.

CHURCH CONSTITUTION – Update Church Constitution as needed.

FAMILY LIFE – Plan special family activities and event’s (i.e. new member receptions, winter warm-ups, church picnic, ladies’ tea, etc.). Coordinate holiday emphases for worship services (i.e. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, baby dedication, etc.).

HOSPITALITY – Plan and carry out Wednesday Night Meals, Easter Brunch, and Thanksgiving Dinner. Coordinate funeral meals. Also, work w/Family Life on , and the Church Picnic, receptions, and other planned.

MISSIONS/EVANGELISM – Plan and promote church involvement in mission and evangelism efforts. Youth evangelism, special evangelism projects, back to school fair, Hope Coffee, partnership missions.

NURSERY – Review Nursery Policies and facility needs. Enlist workers as needed for scheduled activities.

PERSONNEL – Recruit, interview and recommend new personnel to the church. Develop and recommend salary schedules and job descriptions. Annually review and updated the Employee Handbook.

PROPERTIES – Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and development of church buildings and grounds.

STEWARDSHIP – Prepare the annual budget and insure safe and accurate procedures for receiving, counting, and dispersing funds.

TRANSPORTATION – Van needs. Sunday morning pickup of those needing transportation.

TRUSTEES – Sign legal documents for the corporation

WORSHIP CENTER – Help develop the worship experience through decoration. Work with Family Life for special services.

WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA – Maintain web design and keep content current. Creatively highlight church life on social media.

YOUTH MINISTRY – Assist the directors in planning and promoting ministry events to equip and encourage our middle-school and high-school students and their families. This team will also serve as volunteers and recruit volunteers for programs, events, camps, etc.
